With so much thousands if not millions of dollars being spent annually by companies and corporations around the world on ads, it seems that stores in the Malls or even the regular stores can actually sense it, when a woman gets in with her paycheck in her purse or her check freshly deposited in the Bank. Because then the bickerings of “come check me out”, “I look better than my price tag” , “you will need this (whatever) next quarter put me in the cart; begins. You can almost think someone had been silent until payday they got a voice. I left my Debit cards at home one day and I kid you not, I worked through that Store and I heard no sound.

While we are trying to curb and shut down those bickering some of us have max out ‘cards’ and we still have not learnt a lesson. Women on the Web marketing money has become a must, because, if the gender that hears those bickerings easier and louder has not wisened up to ensure that the purchasing power (cash, if you like) is not been leveraged, there’ll be more ‘girls’ in debt than you can imagine. Begin to look around to ensure that you are not left out of some of the honest cash going around in the web, keep your job if you have one but get connected to e-commerce or whatever you want to call it so that you do not have to keep walking around those Malls and stores with ear-plugs and dark glasses (to avoid) making purchase of things you can genuinely use.

Since time, one thing that has not changed and I fear might be around till God knows when, is those audible voices we hear in stores and Malls, which no other person hears, I’ll say take care of it in the realistic way. Buy what you need, with what you have, not what you do not have. Work on what you need to have, to get you what it is you genuinely can use now, don’t waste money on what you will not need for the next few months. For some of us, you may understand what I need when I say its amazing and feels good when someone asks you how much an item cost and truly you do not know you have to put pick up the receipt. You can get there too. It just takes a step of faith. To The Top.

When first introduced to network marketing in the 80s, I had grand ideas of all the money I could make like many people do today. I would dream of the lifestyle that I saw others experiencing and thought… “I could do that, I know enough people to get a good start.”

Probably like you, I started out on fire. I talked to any and everybody that would listen. I pushed pulled and dragged people to homes, hotels, restaurants or wherever meetings were being held so they could see the presentation because… that’s what I was told to do.

Like the majority of us who have had any experience in network marketing, I soon ran out of family and friends that I could show the presentation… and the thought of cold calling was not something that I looked forward to doing day in and day out.

…I just got tired of facing the rejection each day and I really found out the true meaning of ‘cold calling.’

Needless to say I ran out of leads and did not have a team that could take me by the hand and teach me how to make it work. From what I could see many of my teammates were not doing such a bang up job either. Not to mention that the product was very expensive for the average person to afford.

If you have not yet found the success in network marketing that you desire then you probably can relate to what I experienced. But you still see people in network marketing living the lifestyle that you want for your family and yourself. Maybe you have been frustrated and ready to give up as so many have with no idea of what to do next.

Network marketing is a home-based business that the average person can start without the costly investment that so many other business models require.

…But, why is it so hard to be successful in this business?

You shouldn’t have to empty your bank account or max out your credit cards with nothing to show for it except a negative attitude, bad memories and less money than when you started.

Maybe some of you are being told to do things to grow your business, but those things you are told to do are outdated for today’s market. I could only believe that you are being told these things with good intentions but you already realize that they just don’t work.

You may have a great product, you may even have a great compensation plan but you just can’t see any results no matter how hard you try or how closely you do what you are told.

You know that network marketing works, but did you know that with the right direction it can work for you no matter what company you partner with… provided that the product is worthwhile.

That’s right, things have changed since the 80s and so has the network marketing industry. No longer do you have to make a list of your relatives and friends and try to sell them on joining your business.

If the people you talked to were already interested in your business it would be much easier for you to be successful.

If you could give people what they are already looking for you wouldn’t have to sell a thing. You would spend your time feeling good about yourself as you go along helping more people reach their desires.

This is what network marketing is really all about… helping one another reach their goals. A team of people that sincerely makes an effort to make sure that all members are able to realize their dreams according to the intensity of their desires.

This is what makes the network marketing business fun and profitable. You should strive to make this your number one priority… then your business will grow beyond what you could imagine. To do this you need to find a system that will give you proven steps to success and by helping others to do the same… you will find the financial freedom you seek.

After you read the copy (and if cleverly done, it looks much like the layout of the rest of the magazine) you’ll see they are selling pheremones, sexual attractants used to arouse a partner using the sense of smell.

Well, wouldn’t it be great if there were a way to use your words alone as the proverbial pheremone? Yes, you say? Well, there is a way and here is one of the biggest secrets.

Before I get to that secret (there I go delaying gratification again), let’s take a look at friendship. What is it about a close friend that makes them a close friend? There are many attributes, but I believe one of them is very basic and common to ALL meaningful friendships. That attribute is…

Your friend understands your world and your way of looking at things at a deeper level than strangers or acquaintances.

If they are a REALLY good friend, they will understand what you want and what you keep away from.

All good friends know this about one another. Of course, there are other things you probably value in a friendship, but I’m 100% certain what I mentioned above covers a huge chunk of it.

Can you see where I’m going with this? Let’s see if you can predict. Look at the title of this writing and see if you can follow my lead. No, it has nothing to do with being attracted to your friends.

If you thought about it, you’ll see that effective copywriting is like pheremones on paper. The best copy demonstrates that you understand your prospects world and that you know what they desire and what they want to keep away from.

This immediately sets you apart as someone they should listen to, because listening to you is like listening to themselves or someone they long to be.

Once you get this, you have much of the job done. When you understand your audience, you are in the pilot’s seat.

Furthemore, as it relates to hormones, when you demonstrate that you understand your prospects world, you will become highly attractive – those pheremones on paper. Concurrently, folks will feel a bond with you. They may even think “Hey, that’s me!”. I know I’ve felt this exact way when reading great copy from someone I haven’t met in real life.

And even if they haven’t met you before, they’ll feel a kinship with you and make you a friend – at least in their imaginations.

Here are a few examples of how you can demonstrate you understand another person’s world or reality. Let’s imagine you are a copywriter and are a speaking to a mother of newborn babies:

She is brand new, your joy, your everything. She seemed to come into the world smiling in your embrace. And you want for her everything you never had when cradled in your mother’s loving arms at that fragile age. As she coos up at you with awe and dependency, you want for her only the best you can provide. Baby Smiles Formula understands her needs and provides them for those first critical 9 months of bonding with mother.

Okay, what did I do here? The very first sentence, I get into the mother’s world (and with emotion, which we will go into later) and describe how she is feeling about her newborn baby. I even describe how baby would look at mama – dependently, in awe. I then describe what it was like to have this new addition in her life and how mama only wants the best for her child – something all moms want.

Then I provide them the solution to their concerns.

I demonstrated authority in their world. And people gravitate to those who understand their lives. Infuse this with emotional intensity and you have a winner.

Let’s take another totally different example. Imagine you are a cage match fighter. By the way, I’m not a cage match fighter or a mother and have no interest in being either (I’m all for motherhood but I’m a guy). But it would be interesting to see a combination of mom fighter cage deathmatches.

It’s time to kick some ass.

You’re in the cage. Heart is pounding, lights blinding, crowd cheering the coming typhoon locked in your fists. You see him, your opponent, your target. He sees the tiger in your eye – the killer determination to dominate his will and emerge the victor. Forget gentle. Forget Mr. Nice Guy. Forget pain. He can eat those in your knuckle sandwiches. This moment is yours to own. It’s time to show him who’s boss. The Metal Fighter Solid DVD Series shows you how.

That one feels a bit different than the last one, doesn’t it? But the method is the same – get into the person’s world, in this case a cage fighter. Describe what he’s feeling, thinking. Then offer a solution or a way they can get what they want.

Also, worth to note it – notice how this one is structured a bit differently as well. Whereas the first example had full, complete sentences, the fighter one above was more punctuated. It was comprised of shorter phrases and incomplete sentences, almost as if I were visually growling at the reader. It’s quite blunt, direct, and aggressive, like one-two punches. That is appealing to any hardcore fighter.

So you can see, two vastly different examples employing the same method of establishing authority in someone’s world simply by using words. When you demonstrate you understand your audience, what they are thinking, feeling, their goals, you automatically become attractive, much like those intoxicating pheremones in the magazines.

But when they cut it open they found it was just like any other goose. Thus, they neither got rich all at once, as they had hoped, nor enjoyed any longer the daily addition to their wealth.

When some think of multi-level marketing (MLM) or network marketing, they figure it’s a get-rich-quick “loaded goose” and find soon that their lofty dreams of sudden wealth are turned into a chopped up disappointment.

Then adding to their frustration, the disapproving relatives and friends swoop in to say “I told you so. Network marketing is just a fly-by-night scheme to make innocent people think they can become wealthy when in reality only the rich in company make it to the top.” Sounds like a cut up goose with a fork and a knife doesn’t it?

Well, guess what, it isn’t that way at all.  Before you grab that white MLM goose by the neck, take a good look at what you’re butchering. You might want to keep your feathery friend around, quietly dropping her golden eggs one at a time.

She’s an enterprising lady, a free thinker with time on her hands to enjoy life while she turns out her product. Think of the residual income if every once in awhile she produces a batch of little goslings that repeat her efforts.  Think of the job security!

Consider also what her downy cousins in the business world produce. Corporate America creams off big profits while diligent birdies at the bottom work long hours to make a living. Those top hawks profit from their salesmen, office workers, service employees, staff, on down to the janitors who labor hard to earn their paychecks with no real hope of getting ahead, let alone earn like the elusive leaders in the company.

Day after day the millions of chickadees work hard with little time left to enjoy family, build their assets or discover their dreams. Add to that, stress which causes health problems and retirement that is meager and in a distant haze, you’ve painted the job world in its true dull colors. No peacocks here!

When you think of it, the big difference between network marketing and corporate America is that you are the CEO of your own company for a minimum investment, with hope for residual income and an opportunity to help others have that same vision which is unlike the stiff competition corporate companies promote.  

Those precious golden eggs are multiplied in MLM because the goose doesn’t want to fly away. Why should she? There’s no rival for her ingenious products and marketing plan. She flies around with other positive birds and is always helping others get their golden lady.  Only a few will find her.

That’s because it’s work to own a golden goose, a job you created that takes effort. And frankly, some people cannot visualize themselves with that kind of responsibility and discipline. It means stretching out of their comfort zone, but totally worth doing. Go for it and fly!

Are you ready to own a golden goose?

It took me along time to figure the internet out and I will be honest with you I lost thousands until I took the right approach and started one project at a time and found the right tools. I am no guru, I am the average citizen that needed to do something at home because I have a child that needs me.

The one thing you do not want to do is jump form business to business selling those crazy products that lay in your office and collects dust. Have a plan, start with people that have been their and done that. Once you have your ducks in a row, the rest is in your pocket.

You are probably thinking that oh you have to spend a lot of money, well no you do not if you start right. There are no get rich quick businesses out there so get that right out of your mind. The first business you set up you should make sure it is running at 95% then start your second venture.

To do this you need the right tools. Do not go out and buy every internet marketing book you can find because you will not make money from them. Find a mentor that has done it, duplicate their system first and then move on to your very own niche. The best way to start is an affiliate and learn the trick and trade like any other job you have done. Someone at the office taught you how to do the job.

It’s a tough habit to break. I know it was for me. I went to a Chamber of Commerce Breakfast at Teddy Gentry’s (of the group Alabama) farm a few years ago and as I was introducing myself to people, I noticed myself saying “And”. This thought has stuck with me for all these years as I think about why some people succeed and some fail in Network Marketing. You can look at the success stories and figure out that almost anyone can succeed. There’re people who were educated, high school dropouts, executives, factory workers, geniuses, and the not so smart. I even remember reading about a guy who was homeless on the street who succeeded and I’m sure you can find members of the same class of people who failed so background isn’t the reason. It may be part of the reason but it isn’t the entire reason.

If you started a business on Main Street, it’d be easy to say you own it. After all, chances are that it would be ALL you did. You’d give it 110% of your focus and your energy. You’d probably be there 10-16 hours a day and think about it all the time until it became successful or you burned out.
There’re books out there that say you should quit your job so that you’d have no choice but to succeed in your company, but I can’t agree 100%. My belief is that it’s better to have the mind set that your business is #1 and your job is #2 (not including family and other important things). If you’ve ever worked 2 jobs, you probably didn’t mention both of them when people asked so why mention your job now unless you are at work? Does that make sense? It’s nothing but a mind set but it’ll make a world of difference in how you act inside and out.

If you’re saying you work for XYZ Company and… you’re missing a great opportunity to have someone ask about your business. Would you rather have someone ask how he or she can get a job or have their own business? I know which would be better for you and the person who may be asking. If you’re in a reputable company that provides training and a way to make money, without costing an arm and a leg, and you are supporting your downline, they would be better off in your downline. What about your products? Would they help the person asking? Would the products save them money? Would (your product) solve (enter problem here)?

This isn’t the end all be all success key in network marketing but it is a very important piece of the puzzle. If you do this, your bank account won’t explode overnight, but it will get you on the path to not having that job.
